What is dermal filler?

With lip filler its about enhancing your natural lips by adding some subtle volume and to add definition to you lip shape. Results are instant and last around 9-12 months or more. Lips tend to loose volume with age and be adding filler it can totally transform you. I use mostly Teoxane filler which is a premium filler. 

Cheek filler is a great way to replace volume loss or to add definition to you cheeks. When we age we loose volume in the mid face often causing a malar groove (a line going down the cheek). Cheek filler is about replacing volume not adding to it and therefore will be undetectable and natural. I usually begin with 1ml in each cheek depending on the volume loss. Results are instant and last typically 12-18 months. Cheek filler is fairly painless and numbing can be applied beforehand also the filler has lidocaine to reduce any discomfort.

The nasolabial folds is the line between the nose and mouth. This tends to deepen as we age and often the result of mid face volume loss. I normally recommend starting with cheek filler first however often these lines still need to be treated also. This isn’t an area you would want to add too much product however is very effective when treated with the correct product. I normally use a cannula for this area which is painless and safer. Results last around 9-12 months or more. 

Chin filler is a very underrated area to treat.  It is effective when your chin is recessed and needs balancing with the rest of your face, elongating the jawline also. If you feel your chin is smaller in comparison to your other facial features chin filler can improve on symmetry. Results are instant and last around 9-12 months or more.
